This program will focus on the structural and functional changes that occur during adolescence due to prenatal exposure to alcohol and how those changes interact with environmental issues to affect the individual’s behavior, learning, and social outcomes.
Featuring documentary film, Moment to Moment: Teens Growing Up with FASDs, Dr. Chasnoff’s workshop will present the core components of a model of treatment and behavior management that parents and professionals should consider when addressing the needs of the alcohol-exposed individual, from puberty through young adulthood.
